Our house is in the Chianti hills in Central Toscan, between San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo, in the GAMBASSI TERME municipal council.

The house, big and stern, with a tower from the XII century, is situated on
the Ancient Via Francigena (the road to France). In the year 990
B.C. the Canterbury Archbishop SIGERIC was going to Rome and he
stopped at the Santa Maria a Chianni Church (Santa Maria Glan), a very
beautiful roman church.
The road was the big road from Rome to France and North Europe, used by pilgrims. The road passes before our house and continues toward LUIANO, PANCOLE, SAN GIMIGNANO. A river flows befor our house, the Casciano, ancient golden river with its termalwaters and its blowers still actives.
Our house is an ancient aristocratic house from the country with tower and
mill.
Its position, at 1800 meters from the main road (the white road) is in absolute
tranquility.
You can take long walks to San Gimignano on the ancient Francigena
road.
